wear casting parts
(1) Chilled cast iron
White cast iron has uniform high hardness and high wear resistance, but because of its brittleness, it is generally only suitable for making wear-resistant cast iron parts such as plowshares that bear little impact load. Therefore, often in the production of gray cast iron on the basis of appropriate reduction of silicon content, add an appropriate amount of nickel, chromium and other elements, and the use of "chilling" method to obtain chilled cast iron, that is, the need to obtain the surface of the white tissue using metal mold, other parts of the sand casting. After cold treatment, the surface is white and the core is gray cast iron, and the casting has high wear resistance. And can withstand a certain impact load. The grade of chilled cast iron is expressed with "I, T", such as LTCrMoR, etc., which is mainly used in the manufacture of rolls, wheels and other cast iron parts.
(2) anti-wear white cast iron
On the basis of white cast iron, a higher content of chromium and a certain amount of molybdenum, nickel, copper and other elements are added. After heat treatment, in addition to martensite, there are a lot of residual austenite and isoalloy carbide in the structure. These alloy carbides have high hardness and discontinuous distribution, so that the toughness of cast iron is also improved while improving the wear resistance. The grade of high chromium anti-wear self-cast iron is indicated by "KmTB", such as KmTBMn5M02Cu, etc., which can be used for ball mill lining, mortar pump, steel rolling guide plate and other castings.
(3) medium manganese wear-resistant cast iron
On the basis of rare earth magnesium ductile iron, the manganese content is increased to =-5% ~ 9.5%, the silicon content is increased to =4.0% ~ 4.8%, after spheroidizing treatment and inoculation treatment, and the cooling rate is properly controlled, so as to obtain martensite, a large number of residual austenite, alloy cementite and spherical graphite structure. The cast iron has higher wear resistance and impact resistance. The brand of manganese wear-resistant cast iron is indicated by "KmmQ", such as KmTQMn6, etc., which is suitable for casting such as plowshare, mill hammer, ball mill lining plate, grinding ball and so on.
